ScottishFabiansScottish Fabians, Scotland’s democratic think tank of the left, is organising an afternoon of reflection, discussion and thinking on how Scottish Labour rebuilds and moves on from the general election.

Saturday 30th May, 1pm – 5pm, 333 Woodlands Road, Glasgow G3 6NG  [get tickets here]

Following the general election result, Scottish Labour’s challenge is stark. At this event, Scottish Fabians will seek to reflect on the journey that has led Labour to such a significant defeat and to explore ways in which the party can reclaim its place as the leading voice for progressive politics in Scotland and the UK.

Topics for discussion will include: How we have communicated our values and policy choices and how we can do so more effectively in the future; how the party might better organize, engage and grow its membership; how we work within a wider movement for social justice and progressive politics; how we build a policy programme that resonates with and inspires the electorate; and how we provide convincing and positive answers to the constitutional question.

Confirmed speakers include Kezia Dugdale MSP, Jackie Baillie MSP and Mary Fee MSP, with more speakers to be confirmed in the coming days.

Tickets are available from the Scottish Fabians website.
